📖 Beginner's Application & Care Guide
🔎 Choosing Your Tray
Q: Which tray should I start with as a beginner?
Start with Pink (30/40D, 9–16 mm) or Blue (100/200D, 9–16 mm). Pink gives a natural, lightweight finish that's forgiving to place; Blue delivers fuller coverage while still keeping a manageable cluster size. Both trays include multiple lengths so you can layer short clusters at the inner corner and longer ones at the outer corner.
Q: When should I choose a higher-density tray?
Reach for Yellow (200/300D, 12–22 mm) or Green (100/200D, 8–20 mm) when you want bold volume or a wispy, editorial result. Purple adds a spiked, textured dimension. Higher-density trays work best once you're comfortable with basic placement.
🧹 Prep Your Natural Lashes
Q: How do I prepare my eyes before applying?
- Remove all eye makeup and lash extensions.
- Cleanse lashes with an oil-free cleanser — oils prevent the bond from adhering.
- Curl your natural lashes gently, then let them cool flat (skip the curler after clusters are on).
- Keep tweezers, bond, and sealer within easy reach before you open the tray.
💧 Bond & Seal — Order Matters
Q: Do I apply bond or sealer first?
Bond first, sealer last. Follow this sequence:
- Apply bond to your natural lash line and allow it to become tacky (30–40 seconds).
- Place clusters (see placement steps below).
- Once all clusters are positioned, apply sealer over the bond line and cluster bases to lock everything in place and extend wear.
Reversing the order or skipping sealer shortens wear time significantly.
📍 Placing Your Clusters
Q: How do I apply each cluster?
- Use precision tweezers to lift a cluster from the tray, gripping about 1 mm from the root — never at the very tip.
- Dip the cluster base lightly into bond; wipe off excess against the applicator tip.
- Wait 30–40 seconds until the bond turns slightly clear and tacky.
- Align the cluster just under your natural lash line, as close to the skin as comfortable without touching it.
- Press and hold gently with the tweezer for 5–10 seconds.
- Repeat, working from the outer corner inward, then fill the inner corner last with shorter clusters.
Q: How many clusters do I need per eye?
Most looks use 8–14 clusters per eye depending on your eye shape and the density of the tray. Start with fewer clusters and build up — it's easier to add than to remove.
🌙 Removal & Care
Q: How do I remove the clusters without damaging my natural lashes?
- Saturate a cotton pad or q-tip with an oil-based makeup remover or micellar water.
- Press gently against the bond line for 20–30 seconds to dissolve the adhesive.
- Slide clusters off with your fingers — never pull or tug.
- Follow with your regular eye cleanser to remove any adhesive residue.
Q: Can I reuse the clusters?
Yes. After removal, lay clusters on a clean surface and peel off any dried bond gently. Store flat in the original tray or a lash case. Clusters can typically be reused 2–4 times with careful handling.
Q: How long do the clusters last once applied?
With proper bond-and-seal application, clusters typically last 5–7 days. Avoid oil-based products around the eyes and sleeping face-down to maximise wear.
